PHOTOGRAPHY
Photography has been my passion for eight years now. Photography, for me, is all about capturing raw emotion in its most authentic form.

In this editorial photography project, we were instructed to photograph using a strobe on location. The feature is about a young and upcoming teen male who is both an athlete and a fashion enthusiast. Editing this photograph in black and white will further establish the idea of old money and rawness.
Client Photography (Sherwood Park Minor Baseball Association) This photo was taken at the Doc Plotsky Tournaments hosted by SPMBA. This photo captures the determination of a young player. Capturing the action and focus he has on executing the play.

In this photography project, I had to create the key art for an upcoming TV series or movie. The inspiration behind this came from the book The Inheritance Games. A book about mystery, puzzles, and a vast inheritance. The mind games and puzzles played throughout the book inspire the background.

Stages of Breadmaking In this photo essay, I focused on the stages of bread making, from the initial ingredients to the final product. Shot in black and white to promote the emotion and bring out the textures of the bread, the baker's hands and the kitchen.

Basketball Photography In this project, we were tasked with taking photographs of an environment in a wide shot, detail shot and action shot. This is the action photo from that series of images. The point guard is frozen in time; contemplating his next move.

The photo was intended to capture the feeling of community and support between teammates. Even though individuals play team sports, they can only reach a certain level of success on their own. Sports are a community, and without the support and encouragement of those around them, players may not succeed. Knowing that a group of your teammates have your back in whatever you do is a fantastic feeling.

For this assignment, I had to produce two photographs, one on location using only window light and the other in the studio using artificial light. This photograph was shot using the studio light. Creating an image that has soft tones and shadows with vibrant, bold colours. That has a rustic holiday feel. This photo goes alongside the farm egg image.

For this assignment I had to produce one Beauty or Fashion photograph in either editorial or advertising layout, photographed in the studio. The company I chose was Roolee, a women's semi-casual clothing brand based out of Utah. The photo shoot was intended to feel warm and welcoming, promoting self-love and a genuine feel about the posing, model, and outfits.

Suiting Up Client Photography (Salisbury Composite High School). This photo was taken during a playoff game for the Senior men's Basketball team. With the player lacing up his shoes for a big and stressful game that would get them into the semi-finals of playoffs. The texture of the shoe and the veins of his hands created depth in the image.

Client Photography (Salisbury Composite High School). This photo was taken for Media Day at Salisbury for the senior men's basketball team. Put in black and white to create a more serious look that really draws your attention to the basketball.

For this assignment, I had to produce two photographs, one on location using only window light and the other in the studio using artificial light. This photograph was shot using window light, emphasizing the rich colours and rustic feel of the farm-grown eggs. This photo goes alongside the cranberry juice image.
